What is JFGA?
From Japan's Heritage to Australia's Table
About JFGA (Japan Food Gateway Australia)
Bringing Japan's wonderful products to the world.
JFGA (Japan Food Gateway Australia) is an international business team established to support Japanese companies expanding overseas.
We are comprised of members with extensive practical experience exporting Japanese food and products to various parts of the world, including Asia, Oceania, Central Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
Even if you want to challenge the overseas market,
I don't know where to start.
I'm worried about conducting business negotiations in English.
The required documents and procedures for export are difficult.
I don't know who to sell it to locally.
I can't find any trustworthy buyers or distributors.
Many companies face these kinds of challenges.
JFGA is not just a consulting company.
Because our team members actually sell and export products overseas, and interact with local buyers and distributors on a daily basis, we can support your overseas expansion from a practical, on-the-ground perspective.
In the Australian market in particular, interest in Japanese food and culture is growing year by year, and exports of Japanese food products continue to expand.
We act as a bridge connecting Japanese companies with overseas markets through the planning and operation of on-site business meetings, tasting events, and buyer matching events.
"I'll go abroad someday,"
"Now is the time to go to the world."
JFGA will work together with Japanese producers, manufacturers, and food service businesses to create the first step into new markets.
Bringing Japan's proud food and culture to the world.
We will fully support that challenge.
"Bringing Japanese food to the world. A specialist in developing overseas sales channels with a proven track record of numerous export successes."
For many years, I worked for a general trading company, exporting Japanese food ingredients to overseas markets. After becoming independent, I expanded the Japanese rice cracker market to Saudi Arabia, gaining a high market share there, and making a significant contribution to the overseas spread of Japanese food products.
Currently, we support numerous companies in Southeast Asia and the Middle East with export assistance and overseas market development. Our services range from market research and negotiations to building local networks. We also have a track record of exporting Japanese food ingredients to Australia, playing a vital role as a bridge between Japan and the rest of the world.
Leveraging our extensive experience and practical know-how, we support the overseas expansion of numerous companies in order to deliver Japan's excellent food culture to the world.

Nagao Takeshi

"A business coordinator who leverages local networks to connect Japan and Australia."
Originally from Nagasaki Prefecture, I was captivated by the charm and potential of Australia during a visit a few years ago, and started my own business there. Currently, I work as a buyer while also being involved in various business projects connecting Japan and Australia.
With a broad network throughout Australia, we have built strong connections with supermarkets, distributors, and people in the food and beverage industry. We not only introduce Japanese companies' products to the local market, but also support the creation of business opportunities and the development of sales channels.
Furthermore, they actively work to attract Japanese companies to large-scale events held in Australia, and support the overseas expansion of businesses from Nagasaki and other regions. Leveraging the experience and network cultivated locally, they play an active role as a bridge between Japan and Australia.
