CAIRNS SAKE AWARDS
The CAIRNS SAKE AWARDS is an international sake awards ceremony held in Cairns, Australia.
The Japan Food Gateway Australia (JFGA) and the Australia-Japan Association are co-hosting this event, which will bring together local distributors, buyers, and food and beverage industry professionals to provide opportunities for sake evaluation and business negotiations.
The judging is conducted by the Australia-Japan Society, local distributors, and JFGA, and gold, silver, and bronze awards are given to outstanding brands.
In addition, a business matching event will be held concurrently with the awards ceremony, providing sake breweries aiming to expand their sales channels into the Australian market with practical business matching opportunities.
Held every August, the week after "Bon Dance," Cairns' largest Japanese cultural event which attracts approximately 15,000 visitors, this event aims to serve as a bridge connecting Japan and Australia through sake.
